The number of active Connectivity related job postings driven by Connectivity in the Technology and Communications sector of the Middle East and Africa region decreased by 11.28% MoM, and decreased by 19.17% since October 2023, reaching 291 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 52 new Connectivity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 20% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 89 Connectivity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.26% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted decreased by 53.98% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed decreased by 29.37%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Connectivity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 22.8%, the number of active Connectivity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.85% and the number of Connectivity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 10.94%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Connectivity related jobs posted stood at 86, the average number of Connectivity related jobs closed stood at 107 and the average number of active Connectivity related jobs stood at 333.
