The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Technology and Communications sector of the Middle East and Africa region decreased by 8.97% MoM, and decreased by 14.71% since October 2023, reaching 6,228 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,977 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 1.59% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,591 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 2.13% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 13.63% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 16.5%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.77%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.16% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.22%.
