The number of active job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Romania decreased by 9.69% MoM, and decreased by 13.89% since October 2023, reaching 3,366 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 1,016 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 5.61% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,377 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 18.1% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 31.81% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 13.29%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.98%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.86% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 4.64%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,219, number of jobs closed stood at 1,379 and number of active jobs stood at 3,733.
