The number of active job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Saudi Arabia decreased by 24.67% MoM, and decreased by 17.63% since October 2023, reaching 626 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 249 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 3.75% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 454 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 32.75% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 40.43% and the number of jobs closed increased by 51.33%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 15.86%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.26% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 14.81%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 332, number of jobs closed stood at 336 and number of active jobs stood at 787.
