The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Singapore decreased by 10.5% MoM, and decreased by 17.03% since October 2023, reaching 648 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 197 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 9.44% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 273 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.19% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted increased by 3.68% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 70.63%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.21%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.03% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 19.49%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 211, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 237 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 744.
