Vietnam: Technology Related Job Trends in the Technology and Communications Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Technology related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Vietnam decreased by 8.94% MoM, and decreased by 20.03% since October 2023, reaching 591 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 176 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 38.89% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 234 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 26.88% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 44.3% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 24.03%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 17.72%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.18% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.75%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 261, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 296 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 665.
