The number of active job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of United Arab Emirates decreased by 14.17% MoM, and decreased by 11.85% since October 2023, reaching 751 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 252 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 17.21% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 376 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 23.28% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 36.84% and the number of jobs closed increased by 40.3%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.2%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.12% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 11.95%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 306, number of jobs closed stood at 298 and number of active jobs stood at 860.
