On the other hand, the month of March 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 6 deals being made, with average deal value of $50.1 million during that month.

  • Of the 47 deals, the deal secured between Alibaba Group Holding Ltd; B Capital Group; Geopost; Monk Hill Ventures; Zamrud Sovereign Wealth Fund and Ninja Logistics Pte Ltd, was the largest Private Equity/Venture Financing deal in the Global Transportation, Infrastructure and Logistics sector driven by ECommerce, which was valued at $578.0 million and was completed on September 26, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Plum Wood Investment Ltd; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd and ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Chimera Investment LLC; Gablehorn Investments; InnoVen Capital India Pvt Ltd; Prosus Ventures; SoftBank Vision Fund II; The Goldman Sachs Group Inc and NTex Transportation Services Pvt Ltd. The Plum Wood Investment Ltd; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd-ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd deal and the Chimera Investment LLC; Gablehorn Investments; InnoVen Capital India Pvt Ltd; Prosus Ventures; SoftBank Vision Fund II; The Goldman Sachs Group Inc-NTex Transportation Services Pvt Ltd deal were valued at $500.0 million and $300.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Bling Capital; Construct Capital; General Catalyst Partners LLC; Industry Ventures LLC; Origin Ventures; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tiger Global Management LLC-Veho Tech Inc valued at $170.0 million, whereas the deal between Vitruvian Partners LLP-AnyVan Ltd. valued at $168.8 million was the fifth-largest deal.

  • Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,716.85 million and accounted for nearly 60.10% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, Asia-Pacific accounted for 55.39% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $1,582.3 million, which accounted for 36.17% of the total deal size on a global scale.
