The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Leisure and Arts Sector decreased by 3.34% MoM, and decreased by 17.97% since October 2023, reaching 26,157 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 11,318 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 8.86% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 12,223 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.03% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 32.99% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 32.78%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.49%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.39% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 12.4%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 13,501, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 15,257 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 28,956.
