The number of active job postings in the Transport and Logistics sector of Japan decreased by 7.82% MoM, and decreased by 20.82% since October 2023, reaching 4,823 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 53 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 49.04% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 462 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 696.55% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 10.17% and the number of jobs closed increased by 220.83%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.51%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.49% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 47.49%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 98, number of jobs closed stood at 436 and number of active jobs stood at 5,333.
