The number of active job postings in the Transport and Logistics sector of the North America region decreased by 7.89% MoM, and decreased by 17.51% since October 2023, reaching 65,678 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 15,186 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.13% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 20,814 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 4.93% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 48.7% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 23.36%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.95%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.22% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.49%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 21,091, number of jobs closed stood at 23,967 and number of active jobs stood at 72,976.
