Mining: Commodity Analyzer

GlobalData’s Commodity Analyzer provides production, consumption, and trade data for 17 major commodities. The data enables clients to assess future production of key commodities across all leading producing countries with production data and forecasts built bottom up by mine, as a result of our extensive mine and project coverage.

Our production data is based on historically published data from relevant ministries in each country, with forecasts derived bottom-up using data from new mines coming on-stream and ramping up, versus mines closing or scaling down. This is then adjusted based on global and country-specific demand forecasts, based on correlations with key drivers, and price forecasts.
