Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2022, held from 28 February to 03 March 2022, pushed the social media conversations among Twitter influencers higher when compared to the previous year. 

An analysis of GlobalData’s Social Media Analytics Platform reveals the share of social media discussions of the most-mentioned companies on the topic from 21 February to 4 March 2022. 

The top 10 companies with the most Twitter mentions were identified based on the volume of discussions, which were then further analyzed for generating insights for each company.

Here are some of the key highlights: 

Ericsson’s Influencer campaign (EricssonAmbassador) helped the brand to achieve top position in the share of voice among companies during MWC22. 

Huawei made several announcements during the MWC22 event: Mobile Cloud for PC, AI Search for PC, AppGallery for PC, Huawei Assistant Today for PC, Petal Search enhanced for AR Glasses, and Huawei Vision’s Somatosensory game mode for the first time to global developers and consumers 

Nokia conversations were led by several announcements, which include the launch of two new smartphones, the Nokia G11, and G21, the Nokia PureBook Pro laptops. Other mentions were related to the 5G contract with Orange, Microwave transport for 5g success, and what the future of work looks like with the Super Home.
