Palo Alto Networks and IBM among the leading companies in GlobalData’s endpoint security theme for the security software sector

Palo Alto Networks, IBM and Microsoft are the leading companies in the endpoint security theme, according to the latest Thematic Scorecard for the security software sector from GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

Endpoint security refers to the method used to protect the network when it is accessed via endpoint devices such as mobile devices.

All three companies gained the highest Thematic score (5 out of 5) for the endpoint security theme in GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard for the Security Software sector. A Thematic score of 5 out of 5 indicates that the companies’ competitive position in this theme will significantly improve their future performance.

Also identified as dominant players in this theme are Trend Micro, Symantec and Gemalto.

On their tail, with scores of 4 out of 5, are Intel, Dell, Raytheon, Sophos, Rambus, AT&T, Citrix Systems, MobileIron, BT, CenturyLink, Ahnlab and F-Secure.
