UHNWIs (billionaires, centimillionaires and affluent millionaires) accounted for what percentage of Israeli HNWI wealth in 2015? What percentage did the remaining wealth bands account for in that year? What is the average age of HNWIs in Israel? The largest proportions of Israeli HNWIs (29.5%) were aged 51–60 and 61–70 in 2015 respectively.
HNWIs with ‘Chief Executive Officer’ in their job title accounted for 10.4% of the Israeli HNWI population in 2015, while those with ‘Managing Partner’ and ‘Chairman’ accounted for 9.6% and 6% respectively. Globally, HNWIs with ‘Chairman’ in their title tend to be older than those with other job titles, while HNWIs in the president category tend to be even older. These individuals generally have large ownership stakes, and their wealth is therefore linked to company performance rather than salary. The highest growth in volumes during the review period was among those in the ‘Chief Executive Officer’ position, at a rate of 11.5%, while the number of HNWIs with ‘Chairman’ in their title grew by 10.8%.
What industry sectors were the primary sources of wealth accounting for 37.5% of local HNWIs in 2015? What sectors came in second place with 29.3% in the same year? Other sectors include Healthcare with 8.7%, media with 4.4%, and energy and utilities with 2.9%.
