R&D Overview
Beiersdorf’s R&D arm focuses on development of new products with high potential and sustainable growth. In the Consumer business segment, the company develops innovative and high-quality skin care products. In the Tesa business segment, the company develops innovative adhesive tapes and self-adhesive solutions for industry, commercial customers, and end consumers. The company also aims to develop sun care products that prevent general skin cancer. As of December 2023, the company employed 1,686 people in its R&D division.
