Mr. Thomas P. Werner has been the Chief Executive Officer, Director and President of the company since November 2016. Prior to this, he served as the President of Commercial Foods at Conagra from 2015 to 2016. Previously, Mr. Werner served as an Interim President of Conagra’s Private Brands from 2015 to 2016. He served as the Senior Vice President-Finance of Conagra’s Private Brands and Commercial Foods segments from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Werner also served as the Senior Vice President of Finance of the company from 2011 to 2013.

Ms. Bernadette M. Madarieta has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since August 2021. Previously, she served as the Senior Vice President from 2021 to 2023, Principal Accounting Officer, Vice President and Controller at the company. Prior to this, she served as Vice President and Controller at Packaging Corporation of America from 2013 to 2016 and Boise Inc from 2011 to 2013. She also worked with Boise Cascade and has over 25 years of finance management and leadership experience across public and privately held companies and Big 4 public accounting firms.

Mr. Michael J. Smith has been the Chief Operating Officer since May 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President, and General Manager of Foodservice, Retail, Innovation and Marketing of the company from 2018 to 2023. He also served as the Senior Vice President of Growth and from 2016 to 2018, General Manager and Vice President of Retail from 2011 to 2016 Strategy at the company. Previously, he worked as the Vice President and General Manager of Conagra’s Private Brands from 2014 to 2016, and Vice President of Global Marketing of the company from 2012 to 2014. Earlier, Mr. Smith held various brand management positions at Dean Foods Company from 2003 to 2007.

Mr. Eryk J. Spytek has been the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer since October 2016. Prior to this, he worked as the Senior Vice President from 2016 to 2023 and Corporate Secretary from 2016 to November 2020 of the company. Previously, he served as the Counsel at Winston & Strawn LLP from 2015 to 2016. Mr. Spytek also served as the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary from 2013 to 2015, Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary from 2009 to 2013 at Mead Johnson Nutrition Company. Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at SIRVA, Inc from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Spytek also worked as a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP.

Mr. Gerardo Scheufler has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer of the company since August 2019. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President from 2019 to 2023. He also worked as the Vice President of Global Operations at Mondelez International, Inc from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this, he served in various roles at Procter & Gamble Co.
