National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) is a producer and exporter of aluminium. It carries out alumina refining, aluminium smelting and casting, bauxite mining, power generation and rail, and port operations. The major products offered by the company include aluminium metal, alumina and hydrate, Zeolite-A, special products, aluminium rolled products and chequered sheets. It operates bauxite mines on the Panchpatmali hills of Koraput district in Odisha; an Alumina Refinery in Damanjodi, Odisha; and an Aluminium Smelter and a captive power plant in Angul, Odisha. It also operates four wind power plants in Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh; Ludarva, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan; Devikot, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan; and Sangli, Maharastra. NALCO exports its products to various countries in Southeast Asia, the Far East, the Indian Sub-continent, the Gulf, China and the US. NALCO is headquartered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
