AstraZeneca Plc (AZN) is undertaking the construction a bio-pharmaceuticals facility in Stockholm County, Sweden.The project involves the construction of a 14,000m2 biological medicines manufacturing plant. It includes the construction of a manufacturing unit, processing units, sorting units, packaging units, control rooms, storage units and related facilities, and the installation of related equipment and machinery.In August 2015, construction works commenced by three unnamed contractors.In May 2016, AcobiaFLUX was appointed to supply the technology for the production and supply of purified water. Construction activities are underway with completion scheduled by the first quarter of 2019.
