GlobalData’s Sites & Total Forecourt Market Share dataset gives clients access to consistent, cross-comparative data on 35 markets. Our data also covers key performance indicators for over 180+ Fuel retailer companies globally, and includes total Forecourt sales, sales densities and sites.
We collect retailer sales from their annual reports, company accounts, and direct contact with them, and use product and price audits from retailers’ websites to get category splits. We also use store numbers, typical sales densities and space to estimate typical sales by retailer by country. These sales are annualized by calendar year (as companies have different financial year ends) and relevant sales tax is added to get consumer expenditure by retailer.
