Total fixed broadband lines in Chile will increase from 4.4 million in 2022 to 5.6 million by the end of 2027, supported by growth in fiber to the X (FTTX) access on the back of ongoing fiber network expansion by the government and operators.

IPTV subscriptions will grow at a robust CAGR of 8.4% over the forecast period, from 1.0 million in 2022 to 1.6 million in 2027, supported by wider availability of fiber infrastructure and growing demand for multiplay service bundles.

SVOD growth in the market is supported by the ongoing fixed broadband network expansion by telecommunication operators, leading to increased broadband adoption.

4G accounted for 73.2% of total mobile subscriptions in 2022 and will remain the main mobile technology over the forecast period. However, 4G market share will decline to 55.6% in 2027, as 5G service adoption increases.

Fiber was the leading residential broadband technology in 2022, with a 63.1% share of the total fixed broadband connections in the country.
