The 64th American Society of Hematology (ASH) meeting is being held between 10 and 13 December in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this context, Twitter influencer conversations around the malignant and classical hematology event surged in the second week of December. Subsequently, the Social Media Analytics Platform of GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company, has come up with the top 10 influencers on #ASH22 on Twitter, based on Global Scores.

Vinay Prasad, Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, San Fransisco (UCSF) has emerged as the top influencer on #ASH22. Prasad is also a writer and author of many academic articles. ‘Malignant’ and ‘Medical Reversal’ are two of his published books. He also runs a lab at UCSF, which studies various clinical trials, cancer drugs, and health policies. He has tweeted 31 posts on #ASH22 so far and received total engagements of more than 8,100, which include likes and retweets.
