The number of job postings related to project management tools such as Asana, Atlassian, Monday.com, Wrike and Planview have increased by nearly 16% from 4,679 in October 2021 to 5,421 in March 2022 according to GlobalData. The leading data and analytics company found that the positions advertised are focused on working knowledge of the aforementioned tools.

Companies are looking at hiring Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Managers to focus on key areas such as warehouse systems and inventory management with knowledge of using Atlassian suite. Firms expect Financial Managers who are knowledgeable about risk management, Purchasing Managers, and Human Resources Managers to have a good grasp of project management tools including Atlassian suite and Microsoft Project.

Job postings indicates that companies are looking to strengthen business initiatives by hiring for Managerial occupations.”

Technology companies such as Circle Internet Financial Inc, Oracle Corp, Apple Inc, and Paycom Software Inc are interested in candidates who have working knowledge, experience and proficiency when it comes to managing projects with tools such as Wrike.

Around 10,000 jobs were posted for the Asana project management tool during January 2021 to April 2022*. Wynn Resorts Ltd is managing all projects through Asana project manager while Vivendi SA is utilising Monday.com, another project management tool, to enter campaign assets and associated communication.

In the Construction sector, Rieth-Riley Construction Co Inc is looking to hire an ‘Estimator / Project Manager’ to work on construction software tools such as HCSS HeavyBid.

Project management tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera have been trending in the jobs market, with nearly 42,000 posted jobs in Q1 2022. Companies such as NIKE Inc, Eli Lilly and Co, Visa Inc are also seeking candidates experienced in using Atlassian’s suite of products including Jira and Confluence.
