Description
GlobalData’s Drug Pricing (POLI) & HTA database is an exhaustive source for drug prices as well as indications’ reimbursement status and costs.
For prices, it allows clients to access monthly full price history time-series for three price levels (ex-manufacturer, wholesaler, and retail) to help compare prices across geographies.
The Drug pricing (POLI) & HTA database covers 81 markets providing prices based at the pack level: pharmaceutical name, generic name, dosage form, strength, number of units. It also provides regulatory details and analysis such as first approval date, first price date, first reimbursement date.
Prices are reported in LCU with conversion available into any currency, allowing easy comparison of prices for hospital and retail pharmaceuticals globally to gain insight into broader pricing trends by geography and therapeutic area.
Data coverage also includes a Therapeutics View that breaks down the pricing data into critical and detailed cost, narrowed down to the indication level. Content is available for 47 Countries.
Data points include:
– Indications approval dates
– HTA/reimbursement decision dates
– Average, daily, annual costs of treatment, as well as cost per treatment cycle
This provides clients with the ability to compare the cost of multiple medicines for the same indication or compare the costs of a particular medicine across all approved indications.
