Total E&P Nigeria Ltd (Total), a subsidiary of Total S.A. plans to develop an offshore oil field in Niger Delta region, Nigeria.The project involves the construction of an offshore oil field with the capacity of 32,000 barrels per day of crude and 116 million cubic feet per day of gas.It includes the construction of 15-slot wellhead platform, with output fed to Amenam’s AMD-2 platform through a multiphase pipeline, pumping stations, production facilities, LNG storage tanks, a ship unloading system, gasification, and regasification unit, the laying of oil transportation lines, and the installation of processing machines and safety systems.In 2013, Total awarded front-end engineering design (FEED) contract to Technip.In August 2014, Technip has completed the FEED works.The financial investment decision (FID) is yet to be made, which is expected by the second quarter of 2018.
