July 2017 saw a number of policy changes in the global renewable power market.
In the Americas, in the US, New Hampshire's new bill becomes law profiting the biomass power producers. H.R. 2786, a bill to revise the Federal Power Act with reference to the criteria and procedures to be entitled as a qualifying conduit hydropower facility has passed the House of Representatives. Mauritius’ Central Electricity Board (CEB) introduces Phase II of its small -scale distributed generation net metering program.
