The story
The client was manufacturing a new telescopic handler and wanted to understand the market for their tyre-handler attachment. They want the current and forecasted volumes.

The solution
We estimated the population of tyred equipment based on the mining assets database. This was done based on an internally developed model that takes into account mining shifts, asset class and cycle time including loading, unloading, hauling time amongst other times to estimate the requirement. The estimation can be done both for Run-of-mine (ROM) and Over burden (OB).
