The number of active job postings in the Aerospace and Defense sector of the North America region decreased by 7.02% MoM, and decreased by 18.52% since October 2023, reaching 55,272 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 13,482 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 7.86% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 17,657 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 12.9% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 27.68% and the number of jobs closed increased by 16.69%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 10.24%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.6% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 5.28%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 15,653, number of jobs closed stood at 17,917 and number of active jobs stood at 61,285.
