We are currently looking for enthusiastic Sales Executives and Business Development Managers (BDM) to join our highly successful Sales teams in EMEA, APAC, the US and Latin America. Working in a large and vibrant sales team, the Business Development Executive will target organisations within one of our key sectors.

Selling data, market research reports and subscriptions, our Business Development Executives are responsible for winning new business accounts. With industry leading training on offer and excellent development and earning potential, this is an ideal step for an ambitious sales person.

The mains products our sales teams work on are:

Business Intelligence platform – subscriptions and reports

Media Sales – advertising, subscription, sponsorship

Conferences – delegates, sponsorship

Who do we look for?

What would you do on a daily basis?

Who do we look for?

We are recruiting across all levels, from Graduate Associate Analysts through to Lead Analysts.

  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience of producing market analysis: market building, manipulating and analysing data, and producing meaningful insight
  • An ability to analyse key issues, threats and trends across the sector as a whole
  • An understanding of macro issues, demographic trends and economic measures, and how they impact the market and consumer spend
  • Competent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Primary research

  • Identifying key topical issues for discussion

  • Tracking and evaluating the latest trends

  • Attending conferences and providing reports

Syndicated analysis

Marketing and Public Relations

Client services

Key Account Management

Our Key Account Managers (KAMs) are responsible for nurturing, developing and expanding a portfolio of clients globally. Key Account roles are a mixture of new business and account management, with a healthy balance of over the phone and face to face meetings.
Playing an important part in our evolving and growing business, KAMs are encouraged to take a proactive, differentiated, client-led approach into the highly competitive market place to allow new opportunities to be identified, maximized and capitalized upon.
It is essential that the client is at the heart of our decisions and activities, to ensure that we are maximizing our client-centric activities, driving success and profitable growth for the overarching business.

What would you do on a daily basis?

  • Develop to manage key tier 1 & 2 clients in EMEA, with a minimum year 1 annual achievement of £500,000 to £750,000 of genuine new business and growth
  • Ensure weekly, monthly and quarterly commitments are consistently exceeded through high activity rates and an ambitious approach to your clients
  • Proactive, daily use of Salesforce to log and manage activity, lead progression and pipeline management
  • Once won, ensure renewal rates among your Key Account base of over 90% (by volume) through the provision of differentiated, proactive client support and understanding of your clients business and value-alignment
  • Define Key Account strategy for each global Key Account, ensuring Commercial Manager buy -in and regional Key Account manager buy-in to ensure commercial objectives around Key Account growth and renewal are achieved
