The number of active job postings in the Agriculture and Forestry sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 11.23% MoM, and decreased by 20.99% since October 2023, reaching 2,364 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 405 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 15.98% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 704 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 38.58% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 34.36% and the number of jobs closed increased by 7.15%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.09%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.55% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.33%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 540, number of jobs closed stood at 707 and number of active jobs stood at 2,677.
