The number of active job postings in the Agriculture and Forestry sector of the North America region decreased by 10.63% MoM, and decreased by 20.12% since October 2023, reaching 6,916 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 2,283 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 16.16% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,106 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 18.69% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 15.48% and the number of jobs closed increased by 27.03%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.45%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.21% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 8.3%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 2,694, number of jobs closed stood at 3,066 and number of active jobs stood at 7,736.
