The number of active ESG related job postings in the Agriculture and Forestry sector of United States decreased by 10.64% MoM, and decreased by 17.35% since October 2023, reaching 3,040 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 1,390 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.97% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,752 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 22.43% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted increased by 3.96% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 48.73%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.3%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.15% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 14.15%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 1,504, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 1,624 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 3,356.
