The number of active job postings in the Agriculture and Forestry sector of United States decreased by 10.25% MoM, and decreased by 18.57% since October 2023, reaching 6,145 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 2,046 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 14.79% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,748 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.12% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 14.5% and the number of jobs closed increased by 25.25%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.09%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.62% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.79%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 2,400, number of jobs closed stood at 2,701 and number of active jobs stood at 6,822.
