The number of active ESG related job postings in the Automotive sector of Germany decreased by 5.95% MoM, and decreased by 24.72% since October 2023, reaching 1,453 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 376 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 0.27% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 468 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 15.52% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 44.3% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 36.15%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 17.72%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.03% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 13.89%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 495, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 629 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 1,662.
