The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Automotive Sector decreased by 2.57% MoM, and decreased by 12.46% since October 2023, reaching 37,846 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 10,203 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 18.3% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 11,202 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 10.3% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 33.55% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 38.5%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.74%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.34% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 14.96%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 11,741, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 13,803 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 40,658.
