The number of active job postings in the Automotive sector of the North America region increased by 0.14% MoM, and decreased by 9.98% since October 2023, reaching 78,440 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 16,381 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 22.09% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 16,274 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.26% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 35.73% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 40.72%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.7%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.44% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 16%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 18,188, number of jobs closed stood at 20,854 and number of active jobs stood at 82,065.
