The second-largest deal was between CVC Capital Partners Asia V L.P and Try Group Co., Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between BlackRock Inc; Sumeru Ventures; Vitruvian Partners LLC and Think and Learn Pvt Ltd. The CVC Capital Partners Asia V L.P-Try Group Co., Ltd deal and the BlackRock Inc; Sumeru Ventures; Vitruvian Partners LLC-Think and Learn Pvt Ltd deal were valued at $980.1 million and $800.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Accel; Bertelsmann India Investments; Bertelsmann SE & Co KgaA; Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC; DST Global; Leeds Illuminate; Prosus NV; Prosus Ventures; Sequoia Capital India; Sequoia India; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Tiger Global Management LLC-EMERITUS Institute of Management Pte. Ltd.; Eruditus Learning Solutions Pte., Ltd. valued at $650.0 million, whereas the deal between Deepinder Goyal; General Atlantic LLC; Mirae Asset Global Investments Co Ltd; Ritesh Agarwal; SoftBank Vision Fund II; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd; Tiger Global Management LLC-Sorting Hat Technologies Pvt Ltd valued at $440.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $4,780.1 million and accounted for nearly 56.57% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Asia-Pacific region accounted for 37.53% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 41.03% of the total deal size on a global scale.
