The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Business and Consumer Services sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 1.19% MoM, and increased by 4.12% since October 2023, reaching 3,408 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 492 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 45.33% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 533 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 32.96% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 40.87% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 54.13%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 16.06%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a growth rate of 1.36% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 22.88%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 782, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 831 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 3,368.
