The second-largest deal was between BlackRock Inc; Sumeru Ventures; Vitruvian Partners LLC and Think and Learn Pvt Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Accel; Bertelsmann India Investments; Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC; Leeds Illuminate; Prosus NV; Sequoia Capital India; SoftBank Vision Fund II and EMERITUS Institute of Management Pte. Ltd.. The BlackRock Inc; Sumeru Ventures; Vitruvian Partners LLC-Think and Learn Pvt Ltd deal and the Accel; Bertelsmann India Investments; Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC; Leeds Illuminate; Prosus NV; Sequoia Capital India; SoftBank Vision Fund II-EMERITUS Institute of Management Pte. Ltd. deal were valued at $800.0 million and $650.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Atomico Ventures LP; DN Capital Global Ventures Limited; InfraVia Capital Partners; Kibo Ventures; Kinnevik AB; Quadrille Capital SAS; SoftBank Vision Fund II-Jobs and Talent SL valued at $500.0 million, whereas the deal between CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII-Aleph Holding valued at $470.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,420 million and accounted for nearly 33.17% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 47.11% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $4,857.1 million, which accounted for 27.68% of the total deal size on a global scale.
