The second-largest deal was between Advent International Corp; Corner Capital Partners LLC; Oaktree Capital Management LP; Peak6 Investments LP; Silver Lake Partners, L.P.; Upper90 and Thras.io Inc, while the third-largest deal was between Plum Wood Investment Ltd; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd and ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd. The Advent International Corp; Corner Capital Partners LLC; Oaktree Capital Management LP; Peak6 Investments LP; Silver Lake Partners, L.P.; Upper90-Thras.io Inc deal and the Plum Wood Investment Ltd; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd-ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd deal were valued at $1,000.0 million and $500.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between The Carlyle Group Inc.-YipitData valued at $475.0 million, whereas the deal between Adam Jacobs; FJ Labs; Khajak Keledjian; Novel TMT Capital Partners, LLC; Ron Suber; Ted Zagat-Elevate Brands valued at $250.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $6,725 million and accounted for nearly 66.86% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 70.81% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $7,121.8 million, which accounted for 34.04% of the total deal size on a global scale.
