The second-largest deal was between HVCapital; molten ventures; Signals Venture Capital; Sofina SA; SoftBank Vision Fund 2; SpeedInvest Gmbh; SVB Capital and Coachhub GmbH, while the third-largest deal was between Firstmark, Inc.; Georgian Partners Inc; Norwest Equity Partners; Silver Lake Waterman and Bluecore, Inc. The fourth-largest deal was between Founders Circle Capital LLC; Madrona Venture Group LLC; Mayfield Fund LLC; Tiger Global Management LLC-Zipstorm Inc valued at $115.0 million, whereas the deal between Owl Ventures LP; Sequoia Capital India; Shunwei Capital Partners-Lingoace Academy Inc valued at $105.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.

  • Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $970 million and accounted for nearly 56.16% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 70.91% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $1,224.8 million, which accounted for 59.57% of the total deal size on a global scale.
