The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Global Business and Consumer Services Sector decreased by 2.75% MoM, and decreased by 8.17% since October 2023, reaching 12,510 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 2,557 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 22.59% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 2,911 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 24.66% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 32.83% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 36.8%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.42%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.8% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 14.18%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 3,446, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 3,924 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 13,105.
