The number of active job postings in the Global Environmental and Waste Management Services Sector increased by 2.01% MoM, and decreased by 2.89% since October 2023, reaching 9,690 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 4,990 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 38.88% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 4,799 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 25.4% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 22.42% and the number of jobs closed increased by 23.59%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 6.98%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 0.97% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.32%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 4,153, number of jobs closed stood at 4,177 and number of active jobs stood at 9,725.
