India: Cloud Related Job Trends in the Business and Consumer Services Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Business and Consumer Services sector of India decreased by 0.99% MoM, and increased by 9.53% since October 2023, reaching 2,390 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 380 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 46.78% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 404 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 31.76% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 22.13% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 47.19%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a growth rate of 3.08% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 19.17%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 563, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 580 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 2,319.
