The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Business and Consumer Services sector of the Middle East and Africa region increased by 23.71% MoM, and increased by 137.43% since October 2023, reaching 1,586 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 318 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.36% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 14 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 75.44% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 13.35% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 79.1%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.66%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a growth rate of 33.41% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 40.66%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 350, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 45 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 1,132.
