A total of 282 Equity Offering deals (pending and completed) were announced in the Business and Consumer Services of the North America region, in the last twelve months resulting in a total deal value of over $9,373.1 million. In the LTM period, June 2021 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $3,075.6 million, resulting in an average deal value of $85.4 million during that month. The second-largest deal was between Gem Global Yield Fund Inc. and Banzai International Inc, while the third-largest deal was between CIBC Innovation Banking and Impartner Inc. The Gem Global Yield Fund Inc.-Banzai International Inc deal and the CIBC Innovation Banking-Impartner Inc deal were valued at $100.0 million and $35.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between RiverStone Energy LP; SOL Global Investments Corp-Common C Holdings LP; Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corp III (Inactive) valued at $20.0 million, whereas the deal between Alset EHome-DSS Inc valued at $17.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $650.0 million and accounted for nearly 6.93% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The North America region accounted for 38.28% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 2.65% of the total deal size on a global scale.
