The second-largest deal was between Danaher Corp and Aldevron LLC, while the third-largest deal was between Rentokil Initial plc and Terminix Global Holdings Inc. The Danaher Corp-Aldevron LLC deal and the Rentokil Initial plc-Terminix Global Holdings Inc deal were valued at $9,600.0 million and $6,700.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Asbury Automotive Group Inc-Larry H. Miller Dealerships; Total Care Auto valued at $3,400.0 million, whereas the deal between StorageMart-Manhattan Mini Storage valued at $3,000.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $34,700.0 million and accounted for nearly 31.82% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The North America region accounted for 55.93% of the total M&A deals done globally, and accounted for 3.83% of the total deal size on a global scale.
