The number of active Internet of Things related job postings driven by Internet of Things in the Business and Consumer Services sector of the North America region decreased by 11.04% MoM, and decreased by 24.01% since October 2023, reaching 443 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 107 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 39.55% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 162 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 35.2% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted decreased by 36.69% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 5.81%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.13%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.75% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 1.98%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 152, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 188 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 523.
