The number of active job postings in the Chemicals sector of China decreased by 10.58% MoM, and increased by 1.65% since October 2023, reaching 4,261 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 383 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 62.63% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 887 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 109.2% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 48.87% and the number of jobs closed increased by 143.68%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 20.03%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 0.55% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 34.57%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 667, number of jobs closed stood at 554 and number of active jobs stood at 4,345.
