The fifth largest number of patents were held by Solvay SA with 34 Shale patents, of which 55.9% was contributed by Rhodia Operations SASU.
The top five patents holders, i.e., Halliburton Co, Schlumberger Ltd, Baker Hughes Co, BJ Services LLC, and Solvay SA, together held 670 Shale patents during the period.
